It's never too soon to start thinking about professionalism and how the use of social media can impact your current or future career. The printable card is intended for students and contains reminders to think about privacy, professionalism, and similar issues when communicating digitally.
The PowerPoint slide (.pptx format) is for instructors and can be copied or embedded within your own PowerPoint presentations. This material is best used for presentations on professionalism and communication. The Social Media Scenarios may be given to students as activities to work through.
These resources were developed for the IP Pathway Launch by the Integration of Interprofessional Competencies in Health Sciences Programs (IIPEC) project team with contribution from Dr. Jennifer Walton, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta.
